In responding to the Calls to Action outlined in by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, individuals may experience uncertainty or discomfort as they reflect upon their own learning and the identities they bring to the work of Indigenous education. This session will offer an opportunity to examine a resource created by the Indigenous Learning Team that highlights key messages for engaging in this important work respectfully as co-learners through a Do’s and Don’ts framework. Participants will be invited to consider several cautions while exploring alternatives for how we can proceed in the work of Indigenous education together, and in turn in reconciliation, in a good way.
