Participants in this session will learn more about the importance of knowing and understanding yourself and your identities to inform your teaching practice and pedagogical approaches. We will consider the importance of honouring treaty commitments and responding to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action. We are learning about the need to avoid placing the burden of representation on Indigenous community members, while also avoiding appropriation.
