This session on Wednesday November 17th from 3:00-4:00 pm will look at the key information to working in another's teacher's digital class space. It will cover access, common troubleshooting for OTs, and the basic skills to design and deliver a lesson in both of the WRDSB supported LMS’. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the session. It will be facilitated by Andrew Bieronski - WRDSB Technology Enabled Learning and Teaching (TELT) Consultant.

Effective classroom management skills are essential in providing a positive and secure environment where students can achieve their potential. Participants will learn practical strategies for creating a positive learning environment and will have opportunities to address some of the behaviours they face. The workshops for OTs and those in Early Years address the unique challenges that each group faces in dealing with classroom management. This Provincial OSSTF workshop is tailored to Occasional Teachers.

TBU OTPP Retirement Webinar - November 2021

The OTPP webinars will focus specifically on pension planning and retirement.

There are 2 remaining dates to sign up during Semester 1 of the 2021/2022 school year. Register today by selecting one of the registration links listed below.

Whether members are fifteen years from retirement, or a few months away, they will discover common sense financial strategies and retirement planning ideas. The webinars are approximately 75 minutes long and provide opportunities for members to ask questions of the OSSTF/FEESO and EFT presenters. Members will also be able to request a meeting to speak privately with an EFG financial specialist assigned to their region when they complete the survey, or they can submit a request through the following web link: httls://educatorsfinancialgroup.ca

This session on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 3:00 - 4:00 pm will provide OT’s with information regarding the upcoming 2nd Semester Contract and LTO postings. It will review timelines and how to prepare for the interviews. It will be facilitated by Jim Woolley -Principal, Human Resources-Secondary Staffing, David Wilson - Principal CHCI, and Paula Bender -Principal PHS.
